COVID-19 Customer Relief

MAPFRE Insurance Staying Home Refund
In an effort to protect each other, and to help stop the spread of COVID-19, we know that many of you are staying at home and driving less. To recognize this change in driving behavior, and to ease some of the financial burden many are experiencing, we are implementing the MAPFRE Insurance Staying Home Refund. Subject to regulatory approval, the MAPFRE Insurance Staying Home Refund will return 15% of April and May premium to our personal auto policyholders, over $30 million. On average, most policyholders will receive a premium credit of approximately $40. No action is required on the part of our policyholders to receive this premium credit which will be applied within the next 60 days. Customers who have paid in full will receive a refund within this same time period.

Complimentary Delivery Coverage Exception
During this crisis, we will extend coverage for customers whose job responsibilities now include using their personal vehicles to make food, grocery, pharmacy and medical supply deliveries. It is not necessary for our personal lines automobile customers to take any action to receive this benefit, and there is no additional charge.

24/7 Payments
Easy self-service payment is available on our website, and account creation is not necessary. Just click the “Make a Credit Card/Debit Payment” button on the lower left corner of the page after you choose your state: https://account.mapfreinsurance.com/

Policy Updates
If you need to update your address or add/change coverage on a policy, please contact your agent directly as MAPFRE Insurance cannot make these changes.

Claims

Report a Claim
Reporting a claim online is the fastest way to get your claim processed. You may also file via phone. To file a claim, you will need your policy number, plate number (if applicable) and incident date.

Digital Appraisal Option
The swiftest, most convenient way to resolve your claim is to take advantage of our ePICS® digital appraisal programs for drivable autos and minor home damage. With this app-based appraisal option, you won’t need to schedule an in-person appraisal. Your claim representative can help guide you through this option.

Convenient Claim Repair Programs
Additionally, you may utilize MAPFRE’s concierge claims programs to expedite your repair with guaranteed work through a network of carefully screened, high-quality professionals:

Update a Claim
If you have already reported a claim, and need to provide supporting documentation, you may use our online form to upload files from your phone or computer.
